Becoming a "Distant" Student?

Yes ofcourse you can. For people who do not have the oppotunity to train with us 2 times a week, because they live too far away, we have a Distant Student Project to be able to learn Pencak Silat Cimande. If you are interested to learn Pencak Silat Cimande, E-mail me with the "E-Mail Icon " on top of each page. Basicaly it comes to this:

Mail me (Bpk John) to show you are interested and I will send you the application forms

Pay an annual fee of 35 Euro.

Buy for each level a DVD, a video training in which you get the material on DVD and you train for yourself.

1 time a year you will participate in a training to improve your selfstudy and learn extra material and even do level-testing. Meeting Bapak John can be by traveling to him or by inviting him over to you. If you invite him over you could combine this with organising a seminar which will help you to reduce the costs and gives you an opportunity to train with him personally.

During these training sessions you can video tape the material, I will show some more material for you to take home and learn, all to maintain your level of performance and to continue to learn more.

Ofcourse when you are in the area you can always visit the regular classes for free.

Ofcourse when you are a member of our school like this you can always have contact with Bapak John by e-mail (sometimes even MSN) to ask questions about the training material or other subjects.
